More on measures to alleviate the crisis
The Council of Ministers in the day, the Government has approved a Royal Decree and three agreements by adopting measures urgent action to alleviate the public deficit. As we announced, ranging from the reduction in public wages, pension freeze, elimination of the baby check, drug spending cuts, elimination of retroactive benefits dependency, suspension transitional arrangements for partial retirement, among others. All described represent a cut of social rights, but none of them aimed at reducing unemployment, as the reduction of public expenditures represent an increase in unemployment.
