The photography section of the Group Bazán opens its first exhibition

EDITORIAL> FERROL
After 17 years, the photography section Bazán Group today opened its first exhibition. He did it in the room next to the auditorium Esteiro campus, known as "the fishbowl." The exhibition is entitled "O Courel" and can be visited from Monday until June 10 from 10.00 to 14.00 and from 16.30 to 21.00. This is a total of 28 photographs, size 30x45, which lists the different views of participants about the landscape of this spectacular natural mountain enclave Lugo.
La sección de fotografía del Grupo Bazán se creó en 1994, de la mano de Francisco M. Gómez Costoya. Tras unas clases del fotógrafo Manolo Campoy, los participantes deciden reunirse cada viernes en el Grupo Bazán. Después de más de una década de actividades, será a partir de 2008, con la proliferación de máquinas digitales, cuando la sección vea multiplicar su número de socios de la docena inicial a los 56 de la actualidad. Con un blog propio en internet, fotografiagrupobazan.blogspot.com, las actividades durante estos años de los aficionados ferrolanos a la fotografía ha sido potenciar esta sección, para lo que se han impartido cursos de iniciación, avanzado, photoshop, Children's picture, portrait, etc. Also, over time, some members of the organization have been winners of photographic competitions locally, Galician, English and international.

The exhibition hall of the university campus houses an Esteiro exhibition including photographs Bazán Group since 1994. Among the artists who have exhibited his work are Miguel A. Calvo, Comba, Angel A. García, Pablo G. Juarez, Gelis López, Fran Nieto, Marimar Pazos Javier Pineda, Xoel Rodríguez, Beatriz Rodríguez García, María Jesús Villamar and Anabel Viñas.
The exhibition will be open until 10 June.
