Hopperesque: Realism and light in Photography
Francisco Hermida is one of 40 photographers selected for the sample
"We went to a burger of Calle 52, and when we were seated I saw the image in the mirror, if you look things are reversed, because the photo is from the mirror. " So says Francisco Hermida (Ferrol, 1966) how did the single photograph of a English author who may be from next February 12 in Broadway, in the birthplace of painter Edward Hopper (New York, 1882-1967).
The exhibition commemorates the 40 years after the death of the artist who best captured in his canvases the environment of the Great Depression. Other 39 images of authors from around the world have been selected by the curators Arthur H. Karlewicz Gunter and Ken, who found the photo of Herman in an Internet group.
